Ever notice how there's so much mechanical debris lying around? Why not
  make it more useful by refining it into more widely applicable matter on
  the spot?
The Mk. CCLXVII even uses magnetic pinpointing tech of my own design to
  draw in nearby debris. Just turn it on, sit there, and profit!
Take that one if you want it. I'm going to get to work on building a
  better version right away.
